You walked down the streets, quietly and cautiously. The sun had just set, and the sky was now a light magenta color, slowly turning purple. You couldn't help but awe at the wonderful scenery. It was quite lovely, especially for it being springtime. A smile stretched out across your face as you continued to walk to your friend Alfred's house. He was expecting you for a night of playing video games and pigging out on junk food. You see, you and Alfred had been friends ever since middle school- 6th grade to be exact. You were the new kid on the block, and most of the kids at school would pick on you for being a newbie. Alfred was the only one that would protect you and watch out for you when bullies came around. That must be why you and him became such amazingly close friends. Now, it was high school, senior year. The last year for everyone to be kids before they went out into the real world.
You walked up the porch steps of Alfred's house and knocked gently on his oak door. In a flash, the door opened to reveal a blonde man who stood about two inches taller than you. His blue eyes danced happily when he saw you.
"Yo, _____! I thought you were like gonna ditch on me or something," the American man chuckled as you stepped into his house. You took off your purple hoodie and hung it on the coat rack. Your (h/c) hair was up in a loose ponytail, but you decided to take it out.
"Please, Alfred. When have I ever ditched out on one of our video game nights?" You smirked, poking him in the stomach. You had a great passion for video games, and it was all Alfred's fault. You didn't mind it though. It gave you both something to do and talk about. Alfred placed a finger on his chin and pretended to think.
"Hmmm.." He said, thoughtfully. You rolled your eyes and giggled. He smiled broadly at you, which caused your cheeks to heat up in a blush. You didn't want to admit it, but you had grown "more than friend" feelings towards the blonde. Alfred was one of the best looking guys in the school, making girls follow him around like puppy dogs. He never dated any of the girls, though, no matter how pretty or intelligent they were. It confused you why he declined every single date, but you didn't want to draw attention to it.
"So, what game am I gonna kick your ass in?" You asked, plopping down on his lavender colored couch and grabbing an Xbox controller.
"Halo Reach, one of the most epic-est games I own. I must warn you, I'm an awesome player at this game. There's no way you're gonna beat me." He smirked at you as he set the game up. You rolled your eyes once more and huffed.
"Oh really, pretty boy? Wanna put your money where your mouth is?" You challenged, crossing your arms. He looked over his shoulder at you with very intriguing blue eyes. Alfred would never pass up a challenge that involved video games.
"You talkin' about a bet, _____?" He asked you. You nodded slowly and gave him a smirk.
"If I win, you have to admit that I'm a better video game player than you," you placed. It was obvious that Alfred wasn't going to agree to this bet, due to him not wanting to admit such a thing. Video games were a huge part of Alfred's life, and just admitting someone was better than him was too much. But, he had a perfect bet on his part that would knock you unfocused throughout the whole game. With a smirk, he placed his bet.
"And if I win, you have to kiss me." Your (e/c) eyes widened and your jaw dropped slightly. He can't be serious, you thought. He's my best friend! Why would he want someone like me kissing him? Finally, you gulped and nodded.
"Deal." You both shook hands and smirked at one another. Alfred positioned himself next to you and started up the game. You couldn't help but glance over him from time to time, wondering why he made such a bet. You wanted to push the "Pause" button on the controller and question him about it, but you couldn't. You had to win this, you just had to.
====
An hour had passed and the game was still going strong. Your palms and forehead was sweating badly, but Alfred was still as cool as a cucumber. You occasionally glanced over at him to see if he broke yet, but he never did. A smile was plastered on that flawless face of his. You gulped nervously and turned back to the screen, just in time to see the screen go black and the red words of "GAME OVER" showing up. You know you had lost and threw down the controller, while Alfred jumped up and fist pumped.
"Booyah! That's what I'm talking about!" He yelled with triumphant in his voice. You groaned and placed your head in your palms. Alfred stopped fist pumping and looked over at you with a coy smile. You looked up at him and curled your lip.
"You weren't kidding about your bet, were you?" You asked as he sat back on the couch, only this time he was a bit closer to you. You blushed when he placed a soft hand on your pink cheek. He smiled and chuckled lightly.
"Of course I wasn't. I knew this bet was the perfect way to finally kiss you." Without hesitation, he slowly leaned in and placed his lips over yours. You felt that his lips were soft and warm- unlike your rough, cold ones. He didn't seem to care, though, as long as he got to kiss you. Your eyes slowly shut as he wrapped his strong arms around your waist, pulling you even closer. Your arms snaked around his neck as the kiss was deepened. You'd been wanting this for so long, but you never knew he did. It took you as quite a shock, but that emotion was overlapped with passion.
You finally broke away from the kiss, in desperate need for air. He smiled breathlessly at you, his hand still on your cheek. You smiled back and kissed his nose.
"How long?" You asked, not wanting to speak anymore since he knew exactly what you were talking about.
"Two years now, ______. I know I should've told you earlier, but I didn't know for sure if you liked me back." He blushed. You giggled and smiled at him.
"I don't like you, Alfred," you told him. His expression saddened quickly. "I love you." He rolled his eyes playfully as you giggled. And with that, he pulled you back into a warm kiss.

"Come on (Name)! Pleeeeeeaseee," begged your long time boyfriend, Alfred. You looked everywhere but at him, the ceiling, the wall, your shoes, knowing he would pull out those adorable puppy dog eyes that you couldn't refuse.
~~Alfred's P.O.V.~~
'God, asking (name) to go to a football game with me sure takes a lot of begging. And puppy dog eyes. Darnit. She's looking away...and...YES! Direct hit and full force!' I mentally fist pump.
~~Normal P.O.V.~~
You looked back at him, only just for a second, but that was all it took. He had got you with his puppy dog eyes on full blast. You were a goner.
"God, Alfie. You're too cute to say

You Are What You Eat - EnglandXReader
"Hey, ____?" A muffled voice called out. You snapped yourself out of your blissful, sweet state and stared at the American that called out to you.
"What is it, Al?" You asked as you popped another chocolate into your mouth, internally squealing in delight as it melted in your mouth. With a mischievious grin, he swallowed his mouthful of hamburger and asked you, "Do you know the saying, "You are what you eat"?"
Confusion written plainly on your face, you nodded, not sure where the silly American was going with this. "Yes... What of it?" You asked.
